Understanding sequence through comics

In Pod 2 we’re getting ready to write a story (or narrative).

To help us, we read a non-fiction story on a 15 year old boy called Jackson. Jackson is a normal kid, just like us, yet he used his strengths to save someone from drowning when they were in trouble.

The story we read was the perfect way for us to identify the introduction (characters, setting), the build up of problems, resolution and the ending and seeing as though many of us in Pod 2 are visual learners, we took to a making comic strips to identify elements and sequence the story.
