Friday equals transition.
That is where the Grade 5 students (2015 Grade 6 students) head up to Pod 3 and where the Grade 2 students (2015 Grade 3 students) move on up to Pod 2 to experience life in their soon to be new Pod and get comfortable with the people, teachers and their surroundings.
Today in Pod 2 for transition we’re getting into the Christmas spirit- that of giving, generosity and kindness. Not through Santa but through his helpful elves!!!
Oh, and we’re making something that looks a bit like this 🙂
What can you do this Christmas to let your loved ones know how much you care about them without having to spend a cent?
It’s been yet another big week in Pod 2 this week.
Yesterday afternoon we had a pod Concert in the gym to celebrate our learning over the semester with parents and carers.
It was a happy and exciting time which had a turnout of between 60-100 parents and carers! It was great!!
(Photos to come)
Feel free to comment below on what you, your family and/or your friends thought of the event.
THEN to top it off, Jamie (one student in our pod) chose to research Holden for his Australia project this term. Somehow the amazing Lee P was able to organise a HUGE delivery of Holden hats and posters for all the kids in Pod 2!! WOW Talk about brilliant. We will have to send a photo and letter to Holden to thank them for being so generous!!
What a great week in Pod 2!
