Today Pod 2 were lucky enough to go to the Ballarat Fine Gallery to see the exhibition, ‘Romancing the Skull’. The Artlink program facilitated art activities as well as some riveting stories told by Anne Stewart, which all the students were enthralled by. It was a fantastic opportunity for our Pod and was enjoyed by all.
Grade 3 & 4 students from Pod 2A and some from Pod 2C went to Cottage by the sea this week. Pod 2B and more of 2c will arrive today.

Hi guys , how are you all? Hope you’re all enjoying the last couple of weeks of school before the holidays .
I am in a place near Coffs Harbour, where the Big Banana is. I was in Sydney for a few days too. Cheyne you will be happy to know that I did see the Opera house and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I went over the bridge on the train and went under it on a ferry. It was fun. Tyler, you wanted me to post a picture on here of the Bridge and Opera House for you, so I did.
The Olympics at YPCC kicked off today, with competitors in Pod 2 competing for gold in 3 events. We had the straw javelin, bean bag sprint and the standing long jump.
Chess Club round 1 has begun. After a few games played between competitors we have Jamie B at the top of the leaderboard on 7 points.
Lachlan and Sandy are yet to finish their epic game which was interrupted because it was home time- they had to photograph their game so it could be continue next week. Go Sandy!
