Today Grade 3 students participated in a Tree Planting day where they planted tube stock natives at the Ring Road Reserve.
Chess Club round 1 has begun. After a few games played between competitors we have Jamie B at the top of the leaderboard on 7 points.
Lachlan and Sandy are yet to finish their epic game which was interrupted because it was home time- they had to photograph their game so it could be continue next week. Go Sandy!

This week students from Pod 2 have visited the Earth Ed centre in Ballarat to begin exploring Earth sciences. The students had the opportunity to get ‘hands on’ with lots of different activities relating to the earth. As the term continues, students will be exploring the earth and the impact of both nature and humans on our home planet.

The challenge today was to carry water from an esky using a garden pot to fill a bucket which was about 10-15 metres from our esky. We had to work in teams of 6 to work out the best strategy to fill our buckets using a garden pot, which had lots of holes in the bottom of it. It was very tricky.
